Custom labels and stickers split into three distinct formats with different pricing and use cases: roll labels (for production-line bottle and box labeling), die-cut singles (for swag and marketing), and sticker sheets (variety packs and event giveaways). Each has dramatically different per-piece economics — roll labels are the cheapest per piece, die-cut singles the most expensive.

Roll labels come on continuous rolls peelable from a release liner. Best for CPG product lines, bottle labeling, box seals, and anything that runs through an automatic labeling machine. White BOPP (durable plastic, water-resistant) is the most-ordered substrate. Foil (silver, gold, holographic) and bright silver are premium options.

Die-cut singles are individual stickers on their own backings, ready to peel and stick. Best for trade-show giveaways, laptop swag, promotional pack inserts, and any scenario where the recipient gets one or two stickers. Always vinyl for outdoor/handling durability.

Buying guide

What to know before you order.

Roll labels vs die-cut singles vs sheets

Roll labels: cheapest per-piece, requires applicator or hand application; best for production line bottle/box labeling. Die-cut singles: most expensive per-piece, ready to peel; best for marketing giveaways. Sticker sheets: middle ground, multiple designs per sheet; best for variety packs and event packs. Most CPG brands order both — roll labels for product, die-cut singles for marketing.

Material choice by use case

White semi-gloss paper: cheapest, for indoor box seals and short-term applications. White BOPP (durable plastic): water-resistant, scuff-resistant, the default for product labeling. Clear BOPP: see-through (useful when product color shows through). Foil (silver, gold, holographic): premium metallic accents, +20-40% cost. Eggshell felt: textured paper feel, used for luxury wine and spirits labels.

Custom die shapes

Standard shapes (rectangle, oval, circle, rounded rectangle, square) have no setup fee. Custom die shapes — your logo silhouette, your bottle profile, or any non-standard shape — require a one-time die setup fee of $50-150 depending on complexity. Custom dies are reused on reorders so the setup fee is one-time only.

Adhesive choice

Permanent adhesive: standard on all our labels, holds up to weather and washing. Removable adhesive: for retail price tags, promotional stickers, and temporary signage where clean removal matters. Permanent is the default; specify "removable" at order time if needed.

Roll Labels & Stickers FAQ

How many labels can I order on a single roll?

Standard roll size holds 250-2,500 labels depending on label dimensions. Larger labels (4x6) come 250 per roll; smaller labels (2x3) come up to 2,500 per roll. Multiple rolls can be ordered for high-volume needs — common CPG orders are 10,000-50,000 labels across multiple rolls.

What's the difference between BOPP and vinyl labels?

BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) is a thin plastic film — used for most product labels because of its scuff and water resistance. Vinyl is thicker, more rigid, and used for die-cut singles where the sticker needs to survive handling and outdoor exposure. BOPP costs less; vinyl is more durable for hand-stuck stickers.

Can I order custom-shape stickers (my logo silhouette)?

Yes — submit your custom shape as part of the artwork. Custom die fees are $50-150 one-time depending on complexity. Standard die shapes (round, oval, rectangle, square, rounded rectangle) have no setup fee.

Are your labels FDA-approved for food contact?

White BOPP and white semi-gloss paper labels are food-safe for indirect contact (outside of food packaging — bottle labels, box labels, etc.). For direct food contact (in contact with food itself), specialty food-grade labels are required and we don't currently stock those — you'd need a specialty food-label printer.

Can you print holographic or foil labels?

Yes — holographic and foil (silver, gold) are available as both roll labels and die-cut singles. Adds 20-40% to base label cost. Foil is the premium accent for cosmetics, supplements, and luxury packaging.

What's the minimum order on custom roll labels?

250 labels is the minimum on most stocks. Per-piece cost drops sharply at 1,000 and 5,000 quantities — most product brands order 5,000-25,000 at a time for sharp per-unit economics.
